Oil pressed from sunflower seeds is one of the most commonly used vegetable fats in Polish and European cuisine. It’s characterized by a high content of vitamin E and a wealth of phytosterols and polyunsaturated fatty acids. As a food product, it’s used cold for groats, potatoes, cheese pastes, sandwich spreads, salads, sauces, dressings, and home-made mayonnaises. The refining process makes it possible to obtain a product with a much higher smoke point, whereby the processes sunflower oil is ideally suited for frying, grilling and baking.
Application:
Refined sunflower oil is widely used both at home (for frying, grilling, baking, as well as an addition to cold dishes, salads and dips) as well as on an industrial scale, eg.: in the meat industry: in the production of tartare, convenience products, fruit and vegetable industry: vegetables marinated in oil, baking industry.
Specifics:
Vegetable oil is produced from the highest quality sunflower seeds, by means of an advanced refining process. Sunflower oil has a light color and almost imperceptible smell and taste. It should be stored at room temperature maintains durability up to about a year.
